About Music Together®

Music Together® is an early childhood music curriculum developed by the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, New Jersey. Since 1987, Music Together® has been bringing music into the lives of children and their families nationwide in a fun and experiential way. Based on the premise that everyone has musical potential, Music Together® classes provide an informal learning environment that allows this potential to blossom.

"Boulder, Westminster, and Fort Collins Locations"

Singing, chanting, movement, and instrument play are incorporated into each class. Engaging children’s songs, traditional folk melodies, ethnic and classical music expose families to a variety of musical styles, rhythms and tonalities. Song collections change each semester, allowing for three continuous years of new music! Children have lots of fun expressing themselves creatively; moving their bodies, playing instruments, singing and chanting. Through a playful environment, basic music competence and a lifelong relationship with music is formed.

Classes are mixed age (infants - 4 year olds). Siblings and children with special needs are welcome. Class size is limited to 12 children and their parents/ caregivers. Children are encouraged to freely participate on their developmental level without performance pressure or expectation. Parents are given the tools to become musical role models for their children in the home regardless of their previous musical background—this class is for parents too!

Classes are mixed ages (infants through 4 year olds). We do offer an introductory Babies Class for pre-crawlers.

Materials include a parent information guide, 2 CD's, and songbook of the songs done in class—helping to bring music into the home as well!
