Welcome to the new website for Mountain Song Music Studio, Inc. offering a continuum of music classes for children!

I am Jane Smolens, Director and I welcome you to my center and finding out about more about  Mountain Song Music Studio, Inc. My love for music, children, teaching and connecting with families inspired me to develop my center and its class offerings (Music Together ® Mixed Ages, Music Together® Big Kids, Group Keyboard/Piano classes and Mountain Song ™ Rhythmic Rainbows Summer Program),. As I made long lasting connections with the children and families, I realized the need to create additional classes for my Music Together® Mixed Age "graduates!" Beginning in the fall of 2011 I will be adding Music Together® Big Kids for older children. I will be continuing my popular Group Piano/Keyboard classes throughout the school year. Located in Central and South Boulder, Mountain Song Music Studio, Inc. now offers a continuum of classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and through early elementary years.

 In 2003 one of my Music Together ®familes communted all the way from Fort Collins to Boulder to take my classes! By popular request, I expanded my class offerings to include Fort Collins where we currently offer the Music Together® Mixed Age Program only. At first I commuted weekly to Fort Collins to teach those classes. As my classes grew both in Boulder and Fort Collins, I expanded my teaching staff to include additional teachers in Fort Collins and Boulder!

I am  committed to planting the seeds for musical growth and development in playful, yet structured setting. I strive to get to know each child/family individually and encourage my teachers to do the same.  We recognize that all children are musical and that every child needs a stimulating, supportive music environment to achieve basic music competence. Our goal is to create a life long love and relationship with music both in class and in your families/communities. We honor your child's music making potential and invite you to join us!
